On Saturday, December 13, Matt appeared as a guest on the radio program, Law Talk.  The one hour program aired on WTIC 1080 AM radio, an affiliate of CBS.  Matt and his host, John Matulis, discussed a wide range of legal topics affecting business owners and individuals in Connecticut.  Topics included the employment-at-will and exceptions to the doctrine, including the public policy exception for whistle blowers.  Matt also discussed the Connecticut Franchise Act and how that statute is changing the legal landscape in Connecticut by affording protection to individuals and businesses that qualify under the statute.  Matt and John also touched briefly on municipal liability and fielded several calls from listeners with problems ranging from the enforcement of child support orders the restructuring of credit card debt and the right of an individual to market property held jointly with numerous other family members.

This was Matt's second appearance on Law Talk, a public service program sponsored by the Hartford County Bar Association Lawyer Referral Service.  Matt has also appeared as a guest on West Hartford's public access television program with John Bonee.
