Matthew Dallas Gordon LLC is pleased to announce that a significant case it has handled for several years for one of its municipal clients involving two shooting deaths and the severe wounding of a local attorney was recently resolved through negotiated settlement. Although the terms of the settlement are confidential, we are pleased to report the resolution of a case that had potential serious ramifications in the field of municipal liability. As we stated in the Janury 19, 2012 Hartford Courant article, "As attorneys we're always looking for a resolution that is fair, just and reasonable ... If everyone is being reasonable, the case can be resolved, and this was one of those cases."
