Deirdre D. Stokes
Deirdre D. Stokes is an associate attorney at Matthew Dallas Gordon LLC. Attorney Stokes was born in New York. She obtained her B.A. at Pace University and her J.D. from Brooklyn Law School.
Attorney Stokes is admitted to practice in Connecticut, New York, and New Jersey state courts. She is an active member of the Hartford County Bar Association. Attorney Stokes has organized the Hartford County Bar Foundation’s efforts to provide resources to young mothers and their children in the St. Agnes House program. She chaired the Bar Association’s 2008 Barristers’ Ball which raised approximately $10,000 to support people in need in the Hartford Area. Attorney Stokes also participates in the Bar Association’s Young Lawyers program which provides legal advice to people of limited means.
Attorney Stokes has participated in mediations that have resulted in significant recoveries for the firm’s clients and has argued numerous motions to the trial court.
